Baptism

Baptism information for Holy Angels Parish:

1. Please call the Parish Office (625-3698). The Pastoral Associate will take information on your baby/child.
2. The Pastoral Associate will arrange a Home Visit to bring you materials we use for Baptism preparation with parents. You will receive a book Your Baby`s Baptism, some discussion questions, and a sponsor sheet. Selecting godparents is an important decision, and there are some church guidelines that you will need to follow.
3. You will need to attend a Baptism Prep Class. Godparents who live in the area are HIGHLY encouraged to also attend. These classes are offered once a month on the 3rd Monday at Holy Angels Parish in the Multi-Purpose Room from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please call the parish office to register for the class you plan to attend. If there is a conflict with this day and time, other arrangements can be made.
4. After attending the class, please call the Pastoral Associate to schedule the Baptism. Baptisms are meant to be community celebrations, so scheduling them during a weekend Mass is an option. Baptisms may also be celebrated after the 5:00 pm Saturday Mass or after the Sunday 10:30 Mass.
